Cameron Clark poured in monster numbers to steer San Miguel to a 120-106 win over the NLEX Road Warriors at the PhilSports Arena on Wednesday to mark the Beermen's first game back in the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup since their EASL campaign.
The San Miguel import dropped a career-high 45 points to go along with 17 rebounds and three assists as San Miguel cruised to an improved 8-2 slate while NLEX dropped to 7-4 ahead of the quarterfinals.
CJ Perez led the locals with 23 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals while Jericho Cruz and Allyn Bulanadi chipped in 16 and 14 markers off the bench as the Beermen played without June Mar Fajardo, who remains out due to injury.
Wayne Selden Jr. paced the Road Warriors with 32 points, four rebounds, six assists, two steals, and one block while Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser churned out a season-high 29 markers together with 15 boards, three dimes, two steals, and three blocks.
San Miguel will face Rain or Shine on Friday for the penultimate game of the elimination round.
